Ever felt unsure about how to start washing a raw fleece? You’re not alone! Join us for the Woolly Wash-Along Day at Land Folk Alliance, a day designed to make wool washing approachable, practical, and fun.

This day includes two separate opportunities to participate:

Getting Started with Woolly Washing

The day begins with a Step-by-Step Wool Washing Workshop for registered participants. This guided, hands-on experience will walk you through the process of washing raw fleece from start to finish, helping you build confidence working with wool in a supportive environment. Woolly Wash-Along Gathering

In the afternoon, the event opens to everyone free of charge. This relaxed gathering will give you a chance to:

• Explore skills like skirting a fleece, checking staple strength, and determining when fleece is fully clean

• Learn the basics of the scouring process

• Ask questions about washing fleece

• Connect with fellow wool and fiber enthusiasts
